My first introduction to the European Venous Forum was the EVF HOW in Cyprus in 2016. This course is excellent for someone entering into venous disease and it sparked my interest in venous disease. Since then I have attended multiple EVF HOW Plus courses throughout Europe. I have attended the Venous Stenting course run by Stephen Black in London, the Deep Venous and Valvular Repair course run by Marzia Lugli and Oscar Maleti in Modena, the Sclerotherapy and Phlebectomy course run by Dominic Heim in Thun/ Switzerland, and the Sclerotherapy of Varicose Veins course run by Lourdes Reina and Marianne De Maeseneer. I find the courses to be superb as they are made up of small groups and every participant gets a chance to have one on one interactions with the very best specialists in that specific field. In some of the courses one even gets a chance to scrub in with the experts and in others you get to perform procedures under the guidance of world leaders in the field. The EVF HOW and EVF HOW plus courses have certainly changed my practice and I would highly recommend them for anyone with an interest in venous disease.”

It’s an ideal way to meet experts, receive education on patient selection, diagnostic tools and therapies following recent evidences and 'high volume centre' experiences. It’s a very complete course based on presentations, case discussions, simulation and live cases, you can also discuss directly with the experts and receive suggestions and 'tips and tricks'. And if you find happiness and hospitality of Dawn Bond, it’s a perfect day!!!!"”
